I was looking for something else on eBay when a bit of serendipity brought me to this listing. It amused me greatly that the seller is called sweatysockjock — and that’s he located in Southend-on-Sea, where I believe Coutts does its credit card processing.
When I looked, there were no bids — and Mr. Jock was saying they “can be yours in just a few days.” Only 99p to start the ball rolling.
I actually thought about selling our Coutts leather cheque book covers on eBay (we seem to have lots of them, most never used). But then I thought, “Nah, now you have gone too far.” Perhaps not.
